As a tradition, we were told that if you bury a bottle of bourbon on the very spot where the bride and groom were to be married, it would bring them good luck and no rain on their wedding day. The maid of honor sent that very bottle to them and said if you can’t bury it on the actual spot, do what you can with it. The rumor was that the bottle was there that day which in fact started with dark thunderous rain clouds. Moments before their first look, the clouds broke apart to reveal a sun shining November day. Seriously!
Chelsea and Ryan’s beautiful ceremony was outside with a view of the sea, just they way they envisioned. May the rain always bring you a beautiful day.
